Team Formations
As of Fall 2026, Teams will now be formed based on school age, as per North Texas and US soccer. Below is the new age chart:

| U9 | Aug 1, 2017 – July 31, 2018 |
| U8 | Aug 1, 2018 – July 31, 2019 |

Birth certificates MUST be received by July 24, 2026 or your child will not be placed on a team (even if they have played in previous seasons with SASA).

Rosters distributed: August 10
Season begins: September 12

Rain out Weekend (If Necessary) - Saturday, November 7, 2026
Scholarships Available
SASA offers scholarships for families who qualify. To learn more about the scholarship process and requirements, please visit our website at https://www.soccersanangelo.org/scholarships. The Scholarship request deadline is May 15, 2026.
What do your Registration Fees Pay For?
North Texas State Soccer Association (“NTSSA”), of which SASA is a part of, receives a portion of each players’ registration fee which provides insurance coverage and operation expenses incurred for the development of soccer programs. The remainder is used locally to cover administration expenses, pay office staff, buy field equipment, field maintenance, pay for referees, trophies and for coach and referee training and development.
Refund Requests
Any refund requests must be submitted using the official Refund Request Form. Refunds are not automatic and submission of a request does not guarantee approval. All requests are reviewed by the SASA Board, who will determine whether a refund is approved and the amount, if any, to be returned.
Refunds may be partial due to administrative, insurance, and league expenses that are incurred at the time of registration. Refund eligibility may also be affected by the stage of the season, including whether registration has closed, teams have been formed, or rosters have been distributed to coaches.
No refunds will be issued once the Fall 2026 season has begun
