Team Formations
As of Fall 2026, Teams will now be formed based on school age, as per North Texas and US soccer. Below is the new age chart:

| U16 | Aug 1, 2010 – July 31, 2011 |
| U15 | Aug 1, 2011 – July 31, 2012 |
| U14 | Aug 1, 2012 – July 31, 2013 |
| U13 | Aug 1, 2013 – July 31, 2014 |
| U12 | Aug 1, 2014 – July 31, 2015 |
| U11 | Aug 1, 2015 – July 31, 2016 |
| U10 | Aug 1, 2016 – July 31, 2017 |
| U9 | Aug 1, 2017 – July 31, 2018 |
| U8 | Aug 1, 2018 – July 31, 2019 |
| U7 | Aug 1, 2019 – July 31, 2020 |
| U6 | Aug 1, 2020 – July 31, 2021 |
| U5 | Aug 1, 2021 – July 31, 2022 |
| U4 | Aug 1, 2022 – July 31, 2023 |
What this means for SASA Teams:
Players that are currently rostered on a team and would like to stay on their team will NOT be moved based on this new chart (even if they now fall into a different age group). All players that played in Spring 2026 will be grandfathered in as long as they are returning back to their previous team.
Players that played in Spring 2026 but wish to move into an age group based on the new age breakdown may request to go into the player pool and they will be rostered to a team according to the new age chart. Buddy Request rules will still apply and anyone U6 and above will not be able to request a specific team and will be rostered randomly based on availability and roster sizes.
Players that played with SASA in Fall 2025 and wish to return to their previous team may only do so if their birthday aligns with the age requirements of their previous team, or the team is a division above their assigned age bracket.
Players that are new to SASA for Fall 2026, or who have sat out for more than 2 seasons will go into the player pool based on the new age chart and will be rostered to teams accordingly.
