Team Formations
As of Fall 2026, Teams will now be formed based on school age, as per North Texas and US soccer. Below is the new age chart:

| U13 | Aug 1, 2013 – July 31, 2014 |
| U12 | Aug 1, 2014 – July 31, 2015 |
| U11 | Aug 1, 2015 – July 31, 2016 |
| U10 | Aug 1, 2016 – July 31, 2017 |
| U9 | Aug 1, 2017 – July 31, 2018 |
| U8 | Aug 1, 2018 – July 31, 2019 |
| U7 | Aug 1, 2019 – July 31, 2020 |
| U6 | Aug 1, 2020 – July 31, 2021 |
| U5 | Aug 1, 2021 – July 31, 2022 |
| U4 | Aug 1, 2022 – July 31, 2023 |
Birth certificates MUST be received by January 6th, 2026 or your child will not be placed on a team (even if they have played in previous seasons with SASA).

Rosters distributed: Tentatively January 11th
Seasonal games begin: February 20th
No Game March 13th for Spring Break
Seasonal games end: April 24th
Rain Out: May 1st
Game days: Saturdays

What do your Registration Fees Pay For?
North Texas State Soccer Association (“NTSSA”), of which the San Angelo Soccer Association (SASA) is a part, receives a portion of each player’s registration fee to provide insurance coverage and cover operational expenses associated with the development of soccer programs. The remaining funds are used locally to cover administrative expenses, office staff pay, field equipment, field maintenance, referee payments, medals, and coach and referee training and development.
